Hammersmith lies on the banks of the Thames with excellent shopping and two world-class theatres – the Lyric and the Riverside Studios. This leafy borough boasts two London Underground stations with a choice of three tube lines as well as numerous buses – all offering fast and easy access to London’s top attractions.
The nearby Kings Mall shopping centre has all the stores you need for easy daily shopping. The high street, which stretches into upmarket Chiswick, offers a world of restaurants serving the most exciting cuisine. Local bars abound, and a visit to one of our historic English pubs to watch the world flow by on the majestic Thames is a truly unique experience.
Cross over Hammersmith Bridge and you’ll reach Barnes with its enchanting village atmosphere. It is also the home of the unique Wetlands Centre that attracts birdlife from all over the world.
West Kensington is on the District line offering fast and easy connections to all of London’s major tube lines. Both the Olympia exhibition centre and the fabulous shopping and dining in Kensington High Street are just a stroll away.
Just a ten-minute walk to the north is vibrant Shepherd’s Bush. Its breathtaking Westfield Mall is one of Europe’s largest urban shopping centres and home to many leisure activities, 50 restaurants and a state of the art multiplex cinema. Shopaholics will revel in over 260 stores, including the sumptuous ‘Village’ featuring the world’s most renowned designers. Here you’ll also find the Central line which passes through the centre of the capital and a mainline station serving destinations to the North and South.
Moving slightly further afield exclusive shopping and fine dining can be found in nearby trendy Fulham, fashionable Nottinghill Gateand elegant streets of Kensington.
